About Us
We are students from Korkmaz Yiğit Anatolian High School . The name of our team is THE STAR OF THE BOSPHORUS.We have worked on reducing the waste of clothing in this project.And now,let's get to know our team.Our team consists of 7 people.Two of them are Gül Özsoy and Hatice Kirmaci which are our teachers.And the rest of the team is the students.Their name is:Ata Kirmaci,Nida Akdeniz,Buğlem Ece Keskin,Defne Özışık,Yusuf Kerem Güvenç.
Our Aim
Our aim with this project is to protect the environment, contribute to the economy and prevent waste.Our aim is to use the textile product before recycling it and to be able to use it for longer periods of time.
What is our project
We developed our project on sustainability of clothes.In this project,we have developed an outfit that children can wear between 5 to 15 year olds.The sleeve length and skirt length of the outfit can grow according to age.The body part can also expand.There is no deformity during this augmentation.We made this outfit from old clothes
BENEFITS OF OUR PROJECT
Firstly,clothes do not go to waste.
Secondly,it saves fabric
Thirdly,it protects cultural heritage
Lastly,contribution to the economy
We presented the project to BIEA (British International Education Association)
We presented the project in the "STEM Online Conference" organised by "Women Science Teachers" portal and ARSTEAMapp Project. (April 2024)
