Workforce Housing Ordinance Petition

​Sussex County is proposing a Workforce Housing Ordinance. The public hearing was closed on 6/28/22, but the written comments are open until 7/12, Tuesday, 4 pm.

We recognize that workforce rental availability in Sussex County has reached a crisis point. Therefore, we support the ordinance; however, we must ensure that the workforce housing program protects the health, safety, and welfare of all Sussex Countians​ and​ does not adversely affect the County's ​natural resources.

Please read the following petition and, if you agree, please sign it by 7/11. Sussex2030 plans to submit the petition below early 7/12 so that we do not miss the deadline. There is a space to add your 'comments' to this petition. Thank you for your interest in this important ordinance.
