This platform serves as an avenue for all students to book a space for their sporting and SUSS endorsed activities on campus.
The Sports Hall is suitable for the following sports: Badminton, Basketball, Floorball, Netball, Tchoukball and Volleyball.
The Dance Studio can be used for dance and martial arts (i.e. Silat) practices.
Do note that the bookings are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Please refer to the respective facilities pages for the booking processes.

Sports Hall
The facilities provider will be supporting with the set-up of courts and equipment such as nets, floorball board.
Students are to cater for own equipment (i.e. shuttlecocks, racquets, balls, etc).
Seminar Rooms
Pre-event setup will not be provided. The tables and chairs are available in each seminar rooms for your own setup, but must be reinstated to its original setup.
There are no booking fees for usage of Sports Hall, Dance Studio and Seminar Rooms.
Upon receiving your booking request, the Office of Student Life will notify you on the booking status via email within 3 working days.
Yes, there are documents that ought to be submitted before your event date. Upon receiving your booking request, you will receive information on how to submit them.

For cancellation of booking venues, a minimum 48 hours notice is required. Email the Office of Student Life (ost@suss.edu.sg) to cancel your booking. For cancellation of Sports Hall & Dance Studio, please indicate your booking number in your email.
Warning notices will be sent to students who:
i) Fail to cancel before 48 hours
ii) No-shows
iii) Multiple booking cancellation
Students with more than 1 warning notice may be banned from future bookings.
As of May 2022, please use the following capacity guide:
Dance Studio: Up to 20 pax (inclusive of trainer/coach)
Sports Hall: Up to 50 pax (inclusive of trainer/coach).
Seminar Room (Single): Up to 60 pax (inclusive of trainer/coach)
Seminar Room (Double): Up to 100 pax (inclusive of trainer/coach)

Important points to note:
The venues shall not admit more than the maximum occupancy allowed
Only approved users are allowed to use the facilities
Safe distancing will no longer be required between individuals or between groups, regardless of settings i.e. indoor/outdoor, masked/unmasked.
There will no longer be a group size limit, i.e. individuals will not be required to keep to a group of 10 persons for unmasked activities.
If there are more than one group sharing a space, the groups must not interact and must maintain a distance of 3 metres apart from one another at all times.
Contact sports (such as silat, judo or similar) are strongly advised to adopt cohorting arrangements to manage infection risks. Cohorting requires that no participant changes groups without observing a 14-day cooling period.
Sharing of common equipment should be avoided. Personal equipment should not be shared. If this cannot be done, then equipment should be wiped down/sanitised frequently.
Mask wearing will continue to be required for indoor settings but will be optional in outdoor settings. a. For indoor activities, masks may be taken off when performing strenuous activity but will have to be put on after the completion of such strenuous sporting and physical activity/class and during rest breaks.
No, the venues are not equipped with any first aid kit. If your group do not have one, please rent a set from the Office of Student Life. This request must be made at least 2 working days before collection date.

You and other members from your team are also strongly encouraged to attend the Advanced RAMS and First Aid Training. The training dates and details will be announced when it is confirmed.

For recurring training sessions or activities of similar nature, your Competition Group may submit a consolidated RAMS document.
For events/programmes/activities that are different, please submit a separate RAMS document.
Example:
Floorball Competition Group has regular training on Sunday mornings and has planned to organise a tryout session for students who have no or little experience in Floorball.
In this instance, the group will be required to submit:
one consolidated RAMS document for the group's regular training sessions (to be sent before the first training session)
a separate RAMS document for the tryout session
All students are expected to take the SMM seriously and adhere to it strictly.
Students/Groups that are found to have breached any SMM will face disciplinary actions and may be banned from future bookings. The group may also be suspended for a specified period of time.
Yes, external trainers and coaches no longer need to submit an entry request to enter campus.
No. Only students who are on the participants list are allowed to use the facility and participate in the group's activities. The failure to adhere to this will be deemed as a breach of Safe Management Measures (SMM).
All students are expected to take the SMM seriously and adhere to them strictly.
