Academic Background
2025 - present: Fellow of Academic and Research Excellence (FARE), IIT Kanpur, India
2018 - 2025: PhD, IIT Kanpur, India
2016 - 2018: Master of Science (Physics), IIT Kanpur, India
2013 - 2016: Bachelor of Science (Physics), Dinhata College, University of North Bengal, India
PhD Supervisor: I am working under the supervision of Prof. Sudeep Bhattacharjee (Homepage).
Areas of Research
My research focuses on plasma-based ion beams, exploring advanced methods like nonlinear demagnification and micro-glass capillary guiding to enhance beam performance for nanofabrication. Additionally, I investigate quantum phenomena in cryogenic ion beams, utilizing diffraction and interferometry to develop high-precision quantum sensors and probe ion-matter interactions at nanoscale and quantum levels.
