At SUSCAT, we specialize in the design and development of advanced catalysts and functional materials to address pressing real-world challenges in the energy and environmental sectors. Our research is dedicated to establishing a material-based platform that advances sustainable technologies and fosters the transition toward a more sustainable society.

We focus particularly on designing active sites and their surrounding environments at the molecular level to facilitate desirable functions in materials and catalysts, mimicking enzymatic behavior. These designs are applied to areas such as CO2 capture/sequestration and the removal of industrial pollutants. Our material focus lies in, but not limited to, porous materials, specifically zeolites, which are microporous aluminosilicates.
