RCMP Constable Christopher Jones, of the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Detachment, has partnered with Women in Networking Kindness (WINK) to support sales of its Breastless and Beautiful calendars, with proceeds going to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre Patient and Family Support Fund. Constable Jones is a cancer survivor, recently receiving the good news that he is cancer free after battling bowel and liver cancer.

"I was honoured to be photographed with Chris, to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder, survivor next to survivor and let people know that no one is immune to cancer - not even police officers who are true heroes," said Ms. Ralph. "Almost everyone in this province has been touched by cancer. Continuing to raise awareness is one of our most powerful tools in helping people to win their own battles."

Next week will be a continuation of the God winks that have been sent. Would you like to share a question or read how other survivors respond to a topic or question you have? I would love to gather some thoughts for future Saturday Morning Messages. It can be helpful to read and hear how others cope. Send them to me at online@taps.org. Thank you to everyone responding this week and those who read this message.

TAPS recognizes the urgent need to support families who have lost a military loved one after having been a caregiver. The leading cause of death of our military loved ones is reported by survivors to be illness, but we know there are many survivors that experienced a loss after having cared for a loved one who was traumatically injured or diseased as well.

Visit the TAPS Online Community Calendar for this week's schedule of text and video chats and other offerings. We have a virtual gathering most days of the week. Whether you want to share your story or just read how other survivors are sharing and coping, this online grief support community is a way for you to develop and strengthen your connections with TAPS.

If you are a surviving woman more than three years out from loss, we invite you to join the TAPS Women's Empowerment Team to think about how love lives on...and how we can still lean on love even in moments of loss and loneliness. The Love Work is a five-week virtual workshop series that will run from April 20 to May 18, 2021, designed for survivors who are more than three years out from loss and who realize that their hearts might need some extra tender love and care. We will meet each week for 5 weeks on Tuesday evenings. Applications are open through April 9, 2021.

The Saturday Morning Message (SMM) is a weekly communication contributed by survivors. The primary focus of the SMM is to foster peer-based connections for support and encouragement. It is the goal of this communication to foster a safe, supportive place where we can openly share in a nonjudgmental and caring manner. Read and contribute as you are comfortable. Content submitted for the SMM is edited for space considerations and may be used in other TAPS publications. The loving family at TAPS is available to you 24 hours a day. Please call 202-588-TAPS (8277).

I keep cross-play off due to how just insanely prejudice PC survivor players are. Every time I turn it on it just reinforces why I turned it off. Like my last match, where 2 PC players didn't get hooked one time, and left without even remotely trying to unhook me.

Survivor is close to equal on pc or console , pc has a slight edge due to sensitivity and frames but just because someone is on a 5000 dollar pc it doesn't give them skills at the game and is pointless without experience, the only real side where there's a noticable difference is killer because not having the sensitivity they need on console hinders certain killers from performing as they should and pc survivors who are top tier can outmaneuver and pick them apart due to their limitations, but I'm not saying console killers are bad, some killers can be on par with some of the top tier in the game even while being held back by their hardware but that's few and far between just due to circumstances out of their control.

Who care what PC players do or think. Bring deliverance. Also I can see Blendettes in a bush wiping their asses and I'm on console. These newer tv's due awesome things. I tinkered in my setting and I can see myers eye balls through his mask so it's not just them. Yes that have some things console players can't do but console players can still do everything just some things take more effort. I only play cross-play because xbox survivors are usually (not always) Mehhhhhhhhhh uhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhh ? in that order. Cross-play is more of a challenge.

I use to be on console last year and now on PC. I have seen it on both sides and doesn't matter what platform your on your going to see toxic players. But yeah to some degree I get what you mean as last week I was in a match I had 3 console players for teammates and the killer was console. it was a 4v1 that match, meaning I was the only PC player that match all 3 teammates followed me around bringing the killer to me. Sandbagging me and killer hooking me, farmed off hook with survivors nodding at the killer as he killed me. They all did whatever then as I spectated he let them do gens and leave.

But apart from the odd match like that like before I been left to bleed out with a fellow other PC survivor. Yeah, apart from that I have come across some good players and made many friends from different platforms.

I turn crossplay off too. Pc Players are full of hacks. The Killers can see where every survivor is speed hacks and the worst thing is they can turn it on or off everytime. And they make slightly changes so that you dont think they hacks. I want a crossplay option where i can choos with which plattform i would connected.

I had a game earlier with 3 console players on Lerys against a not so good blight, got his first hook at 3 gens, second at four gens and then snowballed from there, 2 console players got downed next to each other (god knows how that happens) and then I got downed trying to open the gate and the last console survivor then runs up to me on the ground, starts self-caring herself then gets downed on top of me and then we all die.

He was the last born of Diamond and Amethyst's pups and the only survivor of his litter. His original name, given to him by the tundra biologist (Stacy's mother) was Garnet, due to his red-brown eyes.

Cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we'll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.

Winter is coming, and the walking dead are following in its wake. A small group of survivors have taken refuge in The Colony” but supplies are running low, the zombies are coming, and someone is putting their own selfish needs and desires ahead of the rest of the survivors. Every round begins with a crisis occurring, driving the survivors out of the colony to search for food, medicine, fuel and equipment, but the weather outside is frightful and the zombies think your brains are delightful so leaving the colony is rife with danger. When a survivor goes outside they must brave the elements and the undead, either of which can injure or kill.

On Christmas Eve, six players came together to fight the hordes of undead threatening to ruin Christmas for everyone. Mike Cho was the first brave survivor to venture out of the colony, and quickly found that the weather made for a more dangerous enemy than any walking corpse as he took a wound from exposure. Sophie and Carla banded together thinking that traveling in a group would be safer than going alone, and they headed to the police station, but again, found the elements too challenging and suffered from frostbite and wounds. Bit by bit the survivors branched out, exploring the town and finding vital resources, some food here, some medicine there.

Hi Yogini. I'm another MMMT/carcinosarcoma survivor. As others have said the treatment regimen is quite do-able. I had some days during chemo when I didn't feel quite as good but other days when I felt pretty close to normal. For me the worst effects were achiness in my bones and joints and some constipation. You've come to the right place for support and information. Everyone here understands what you're going through. I wasn't sure I had the strength to get through this either. I really surprised myself! You will too! I had hysterectomy/staging in Nov. 2015 and completed chemo and brachytherapy treatments in May 2016. I was staged as 1A but they found papillary serous as well as MMMT. I just found out I've had a recurrence in my lymph nodes but from all I've learned from others here and in another group I can see a way forward and that it's possible to live through this too and thrive!

I am 6 1/2 yr survivor of grade 3 MMMT Stage 3C1. Tumor in Uterus was 1A but had 1 lymph node with 2 cancer cells in it so it was upgraded. I had 6 chemo treatments and no radiation. Good Luck in your journey as no one but the One knows our expiration date. trish

Yugoslavia's most prominent opposition leader, Vuk Draskovic,

has claimed that a car accident last Thursday in which he was injured and his

brother-in-law killed was an attempt on his life. Draskovic

was the only survivor of a massive three-car accident on Thursday

afternoon, two miles from the town of Lazarevac in central Serbia.

They say it started with Kansas irregulars attacking Missouri. Missouri replied in kind. It was an unneighborly kind of war. Little mercy was asked and little was given. The Osceola raid, supposedly counted but one survivor. But with the rush of hot-blood, truth is often the victim. The partisans vowed righteous vengeance on each other, heated their rhetoric and twisted their courage for the oncoming civil war. It left 215,000 laying on the ground. 2351a5e196
