I have a rather long survey123 form and I have been playing with the Theme Grid to try and make the survey more compact. I have recently updated to the 3.7.60 version of survey123 Connect, but i am still having the same issues. I have changed the style to theme-grid and I have seen the changes in my survey. Problem now is that I would like to make some groups a different size (appearance) than other groups. i would like a grid that is w3 and another group that is only w2. When I go to change the appearance of a group I get an error message (see attached photo) that tells me I have enter a invalid value. It will not accept any changes to the appearance that are not from the drop down list. Has anyone else had these issues? I would imagine that I need to make some small change to get everything to work but I cannot figure it out. Does anyone have any advice?

I have created a survey with quiet a lot of questions. In survey123 connect there are 858 fields in my survey123. The issue I am having is that after I publish the survey and try to submit a test record (either on the computer or through mobile app) I get a error message "database error has occurred". I have done some research and I am sure that the feature service is correct and works. The survey has two parts and I have tried to split the survey into two separate surveys, when I do this and republish separately, I get no errors when submitting. I have found that a survey should be able to handle 1,024 columns (including system fields). Everything works well on survey123 connect and everything publishes without error, it is only at submission that I get any errors.

Hi, I have an exisitng Feature layer within AGOL for assets and I have been asked to create a survey123 form so workers can click on the point on the map (perhaps Field Maps app) and open up a survey to collect condition scores and other information, plus photos, i need to link the two together. This seems doable with a link within the pop-up to go to the survey but I need some of the existing attributes, such as asset reference numbers and location to be carried over automatically from the existing layer. The reason I've been asked to look into Survey123 is due to the PDF export capabilities and adding company logo's to make it look professional.

I'm completely new to Survey123, but i think it's doable to add a link into the field maps pop up to enable them to create a survey within survey123 but i don't know how to carry over some attribute data.

arcgis-survey123://?itemID=ItemIDSurveyForm&field:FieldNameInSurvey123={FieldNameInFieldMaps} but i'm not sure where this would go, does it need to go into an .xls survey123 connect form and how it would work with trying to get multiple fields. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated

However, this link does not work for me on Windows, in that it will not directly open the correct record for editing (switching the link to use the arcgis-survey123:// URL scheme also doesn't work). I have still not found any way to create a q:queryparameter link that works on Windows. I think the problem may be that update=true is not having any effect on Windows, which may be a separate bug.

Firstly the feature layer has a related table attached and has been set up with a relationship class between the globalID. However I am not able to get survey123 to automatically pick up the related table.

I'm currently in version 3.9.120 of Survey123 Connect although I had these issues in a version 3.6.xxx and 3.7.xxx. My solution has been to continually uninstall and reinstall survey123 Connect but it appears the problems follow me. This is starting to interfere with my ability to efficiently create a survey and use the program. I will say the problems consistently happen so doing a screen share would work if someone needed to see it happen. Please let me know what to do next and thank you,

Hi Emily. Please email survey123@esri.com so we can schedule a screen-sharing session with you. In your email, suggest a time to meet and we will try to have someone available. This is a very uncommon problem.

To answer your first question, as noted in the linked documentation, "Most changes to your survey will allow you to republish your survey without deleting and recreating the feature service." There should not be a need for you to manually alter the items within the survey's folder after being placed in the My Content section of ArcGIS Online during creation. Instead, sharing should be handled by making changes within the 'Collaborate' section of the survey's settings at survey123.arcgis.com.

I made the mistake of publishing updates to two survey123 forms before having my crew send in data from the tablet outbox. The data then couldn't be submitted. I pulled the original survey xlsx off of the tablet, copied it into the appropriate survey folder, updated the form in Connect, then tried to republish each survey. However, both surveys are getting hung up when I try to publish at the "Checking Feature Service: Getting Service Information" phase. 006ab0faaa
