Theories of Writing

This course is the introductory course to the Writing Practices minor. This course focused on numerous theories of writing, understanding stylistic choices and engaging the audience while still being effective. This course focused on the interconnectedness of visuals, language, sound, and presentation can impact a piece of writing. This class utilized group projects, individualized writing assignments and engaging in-class activities to further our understanding of writing and our relationships to writing and how our choices in writing can make us more successful.
