Introduction to Creative Writing

Introduction to Creative Writing is the one of the first classes within the English Department. This class serves as a basic introduction to various forms of creative writing. In this class, my classmates and I explored different types and outlets for creativity. Referencing various authors, we experimented with poetry, prose, songwriting and fiction. This class was a small collaborative space where my peers and I workshopped and gave constructive criticism to each other. This introduction course was a creative and safe space to experiment with new and novel writing techniques.
