Surendra Padamata

I am a graduate student in the Penn State Physics department. My interests range from high-energy astrophysics, and theoretical neuroscience to atmospheric sciences. Currently looking for a Ph.D. position in atmospheric physics with a focus on theoretical and numerical modeling of atmospheric dynamics of systems like tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, cloud formation, and impact on long-term climate. I am also quite intrigued by developing better weather predictions and precursors of severe weather conditions. Planetary and exoplanet atmosphere which could have an impact on future space missions is interesting too.
