Suraiya Binte Ali

I am currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at University of Nebraska-Lincoln at the Department of Economics. I have also been awarded a Ogle Fellowship in 2024-2025 academic year.  I earned my Master of Development Studies degree in Development Economics from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2022, securing the second position. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology 2019, securing the first position. My passion for economic research developed during my undergraduate years as I participated in different international development conferences and mostly during my masters program when I came to learn the applied field of economics. I am interested in financial economics, public economics, growth and international economics inclusiveness. Apart from academics, I like to paint and travel.
