Undergraduate student in our group, Connor Belt, presented his research at the annual meeting of APS devision of Plasma Physics in Spokane, Washington. He receive accolades for his work.
Graduate student in our group, William Joysey, won the APS- DPP travel award for attending the annual meeting of APS devision of Plasma Physics in Spokane, Washington.
In this grant entitled "Metal fueled Hall effect thruster using a radioisotope heater" we would established a new technology of Hall effect thruster using the metal propellant.
In this grant entitled "Understanding the melting dynamics of the plasma crystal under the influence of varying magnetic field" we would study the direct effect of magnetic field on the structural transition of complex plasmas.
In a joint collaboration with Rogue Space System corporation we will develop a technology to detect the small sized debris in lower earth orbit.
