Aria BG

Aria is more outgoing and energetic compared to her brother, quicker to anger and protective. she would argue more with their mother than Tim would once she was old enough, but would back down if Tim told her to. she hated being unable to keep her brother safe, as she was usually too small. she's an intelligent, kind, and gentle woman but isn't afraid to finish fights if necessary.

Aria came from a unstable home, where her mother was neglectful and sometimes outright abusive to her and her older brother, Timothy. there was no father in the picture, for either of them, as their mother tried her hardest to keep the children away from them. there was no rhyme or reason.

Aria was born when her brother Timothy was about nine years old, where he became her primary caregiver. because of this, the two of them became incredibly close, being each other's playmates for a long time until Aria started going to school.

she excelled in her schoolwork, despite having such a rough homelife, all thanks to her big brother's support. so when he decided to go to college when she was sixteen, she was distraught. she didn't want to be left alone with their mother, and after lots of reassurance and promises, she begrudgingly lets him go.

unfortunately, it'd be the last time she'd ever see her brother alive. when the news came that her big brother had died in a freak accident, her whole life toppled over. the only stable part of her life, that she loved and cared for with her entire being, was gone. the fact their mother just laughed when told also caused Aria to resent her more than ever before, bordering on real hate.

still, Aria knew that she'd have to deal with their mother until she was done with school and able to get a decent job to get away from her. so she applied herself, graduated top of her high school class, and got into college on a mix of loans and scholarships. anything she'd be able to get so she could escape her mother.

as she worked her way through college, she heard about how Atlas was being rebuilt by a certain Rhys Strongfork, who inspired her to keep trying to move up in life, and eventually when she graduated, she lands a job at Atlas in the HR department.

now she lives a rather comfortable life on Promethea, having left her mother behind on Tantalus with all the bad memories of her childhood.
