Workshop in Honour of Jérôme Lang
"Supporting Decisions: Theory and Computation"
"Supporting Decisions: Theory and Computation"
About a year ago, Jérôme Lang, a highly influential researcher working on topics of decision making in AI and Economics and an important mentor to many fellow researchers, turned 60.
To mark the occasion, please join us for a workshop celebrating Jérôme and his work on Friday, 30 January 2026, at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL.
All sessions will be held in Salle Raymond Aron (2nd floor). Coffee breaks, lunch, and the reception at the end of the day will take place in Espace One.
The workshop coincides with the publication of a special issue of Theory and Decision in honour of Jérôme, edited by Ali Ozkes and Remzi Sanver. The theme of the special issue is "Supporting Decisions: Theory and Computation" (sorry, production got slightly delayed by Springer, but it should be fully online very soon).
The special issue is a collection of ten articles that showcase some of the many research topics Jérôme contributed to over the years. This collection of articles includes a review article on Jérôme's contributions at the interface of AI and Economics over the past two decades, written by Ulle Endriss and Nicolas Maudet.
