Visitors to the Apple store will be able to enjoy the usual offerings, such as the full range of products, technical support from the Genius Bar, and free hands-on sessions on various topics. Apple said that some brand new programming will be developed exclusively for visitors to the new store, such as The Magic of Jewel Changi Airport Photo Walk. This photo walk will allow attendees to explore Jewel's attractions and learn how to take photos or videos of them using an iPhone or iPad.
The Jewel store will be Apple's second store in Singapore, following the opening of its first store at Knightsbridge mall in Orchard Road in May 2017. That store was also the first Apple store in South-east Asia. Since then, Apple has opened another store in Bangkok, Thailand, in November 2018.
Apple is also reportedly planning to open a third store in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands, a luxury hotel and casino complex. According to The Straits Times, a dome-like structure emerging from the water near the Marina Bay Sands is believed to be the site of the upcoming store.
With three stores in Singapore by the end of the year, Apple will be expanding its presence and reach in the region. Singapore is one of the most developed and affluent markets in Asia, with a high smartphone penetration rate and a strong demand for premium devices and services.
Apple fans who are interested in visiting the new store at Jewel Changi Airport can find more information on Apple's website. The store's opening hours will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
