If you want a sealed, over-ear studio monitor built for long sessions with glasses, choose Superlux HD661; if you need high-resolution planar in-ear monitors that prioritize portability and detailed sound staging, choose ARTTI T10. This isn't about which one is "better" in a vacuum, but rather which one fits the specific geometry of your face and your listening habits. As someone who wears prescription lenses daily, I know the frustration of ear cups digging into temple arms or earbuds feeling like they are pushing against the frame's hinges. The choice between these two devices comes down to form factor: the clamping force and seal of an over-ear cup versus the deep-insertion fit of an in-ear driver. Both have their place, but only one will disappear on your head without creating pressure points behind your ears.
• Superlux HD661: Its biggest strength is the closed-back, over-ear design that creates an acoustic seal ideal for monitoring in noisy environments; its trade-off is the potential for clamping pressure on glasses temples during extended wear. Best for studio engineers and home listeners who prioritize isolation and a balanced soundstage.
• ARTTI T10: Its biggest strength is the 14.2mm planar magnetic driver delivering exceptional detail and a lightweight, ergonomic fit that avoids heavy clamping; its trade-off is the lack of passive isolation compared to a full cup, requiring good tips for noise blocking. Best for audiophiles and gamers who want portable, high-fidelity sound without bulk.
The Superlux HD661 is engineered as a closed-back studio monitor headphone, and that definition dictates its entire purpose. It features a 40mm dynamic driver with a neodymium magnet, housed within an enclosure designed to be airtight. This sealed construction is not just about keeping sound inside; it is about preventing external noise from bleeding in, which makes it particularly effective for live monitoring, broadcast applications, and recording environments where ambient noise can ruin a take. The frequency response spans from 10Hz to 20,000Hz, offering a wide range that captures both the deepest sub-bass and the highest treble frequencies. With a sensitivity of 102dB SPL at 1mW, this unit is quite efficient, meaning it can get loud enough without needing a massive amplifier, though the 68Ω impedance suggests it will benefit from a dedicated source to fully control the drivers.
For those of us who wear glasses, the physical design of the HD661 presents a specific set of pros and cons. Being an over-ear model, it surrounds the ear completely rather than inserting into the canal. The earpiece shape is described as over-ear with neoprene material, which generally offers a soft interface. However, the "closed back" nature implies a certain amount of clamping force is necessary to maintain that airtight seal. If your glasses frames are thick or have stiff temples, you might feel the pressure accumulating after an hour of use. That said, the 6.72-ounce weight is relatively light for a full-sized headphone, which helps mitigate neck strain. The package includes two cables (3.3 ft and 9.8 ft) and a conversion plug, giving you flexibility whether you are sitting close to a mixing desk or moving around a room.

This product is for the person who values accuracy and isolation above all else. If you are editing audio, mixing music, or working in a noisy office where you cannot hear yourself think, the HD661's ability to block out the world while providing a neutral, balanced tone is its superpower. It is also a solid choice for wired gaming setups where latency and microphone integration (via the included cable setup) matter more than wireless convenience. You should skip this model if you prioritize absolute portability or if you find any type of headband pressure intolerable due to sensitive temples. The design is strictly wired, so you must stay tethered to your device, but the build quality suggests a durability that justifies being stationary.
The ARTTI T10 takes a completely different approach by utilizing a 14.2mm dual magnetic circuit planar driver. Planar magnetic technology is distinct from the dynamic drivers found in most consumer headphones; it uses a thin diaphragm suspended in a magnetic field, which often results in faster transient response and incredibly low distortion. The frequency range covers 20Hz to 20kHz, ensuring you don't lose the extreme lows or highs, but the real magic lies in how the driver interacts with the cavity. The unique cavity design employs sturdy PC materials with UV handling techniques and a spacious interior tailored to accommodate the large driver fully. This allows the sound to develop naturally without being choked by a small housing.
Comfort is a central pillar of the ARTTI T10's design philosophy. The description explicitly mentions an ergonomic and lightweight design intended to avoid unnecessary pressure on the ears. Since these are in-ear monitors (IEMs), they do not clamp around your head; instead, they sit in the concha or canal. For glasses wearers, this is often a relief because there is no headband pressing against the sides of your skull. The ear tips are silicone, which can create a custom seal depending on your anatomy. The body of the earphone is made from PC Engineering Plastic and 6063 Aviation Aluminum Alloy, featuring a brushed metal faceplate that adds a premium aesthetic while keeping the unit durable. The cable is a standout feature here, consisting of a 4-core, 216-strand high-purity oxygen-free copper wire with silver plating. This 1.2-meter cable terminates in a standard 0.78mm 2-pin connector, allowing for future upgrades, and comes with both 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs for versatility across different players and dongles.
Who should buy the ARTTI T10? It is ideal for the mobile listener who refuses to compromise on fidelity. Whether you are commuting, traveling, or simply want to listen to music in bed without disturbing others, the compact storage box and lightweight nature make it perfect. The inclusion of a hard bulletproof cloth velvety storage case shows attention to protecting the delicate components. You should consider skipping this if you require active noise cancellation hardware or if you prefer the physical sensation of covering your ears entirely. While the specifications mention "Hybrid Noise Cancellation," in the context of in-ear monitors, this often refers to the passive isolation provided by the fit and the acoustic damping system selected for the duct. If you are looking for the best earbuds for glasses wearers who hate the feeling of pressure on their temples, this is a strong contender.

If I had to pick one pair of headphones for my own desk setup right now, I would choose the Superlux HD661. I value the isolation and the ability to focus deeply on audio work without hearing the hum of a refrigerator or the chatter of the street. The open, balanced sound profile of the dynamic drivers is exactly what I need when I am trying to catch subtle artifacts in a mix. However, if I were packing for a trip or going for a run, I would immediately switch to the ARTTI T10. The planar driver's detail retrieval is unmatched for casual listening, and the fact that I can wear them with my glasses without feeling the frame dig into my temples makes them the practical winner for daily life. Ultimately, for glasses wearers specifically, the ARTTI T10 wins on pure comfort, but the Superlux HD661 wins on performance utility for serious listening.
No, neither product is wireless. Both the Superlux HD661 and ARTTI T10 are wired devices that connect via a 3.5mm or 4.4mm jack. They rely on a physical cable for power and audio transmission, which ensures zero latency and consistent sound quality without battery anxiety.
The Superlux HD661 provides superior passive noise isolation due to its sealed, closed-back over-ear design that creates an airtight barrier around the ear. The ARTTI T10 relies on the seal of the silicone ear tips, which can be excellent but generally does not block low-frequency rumble as effectively as a full cup.
Yes, the ARTTI T10 includes a one-year warranty, a protective cloth case, multiple ear tips, and a user manual. The Superlux HD661 comes with a carrying pouch, a gold-plated conversion plug, and two different lengths of cable, though the documentation does not specify a warranty period.
The Superlux HD661 uses a 40mm dynamic driver tuned for a balanced, deep sound field suitable for monitoring, while the ARTTI T10 uses a 14.2mm planar magnetic driver focused on high resolution, fast transients, and a wider soundstage for audiophile enjoyment.
