The Weeknd will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show
Plans are still being made for how many fans will be able to take part in the Super Bowl LV in Tampa in February, but we now know that these fans will be seen performing in headtime.
Pepsi said in October that they were planning to move forward with an event. On Thursday, they announced that The Weekend would perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.
A year later, which has largely rendered live music ineffective, we can’t wait for The Weekend to transform into the world’s largest stage with its boundless talent and creativity, it will probably be an unforgettable performance that will be remembered for years ahead, ”said PepsiCo Senior Vice President. Adam Harter said in a statement.
Several of The Weekend's hits have come as collaborations with other artists, such as Ariana Grande and Kendrick Lamar, and several recent halftime shows featuring multiple actors, so we'll have more announcements about what we'll see in February.
Who is playing Super Bowl halftime show Performer 2021?
The 2021 Super Bowl is almost here and that means the halftime show is around the corner. This year, Canadian artist The Weekend will set foot on the world’s largest stage and perform at the 2021 Super Bowl halftime show. The Weekend, whose real name is Abel Tesfoy, has won three Grammy Awards, five American Music Awards and nine Billboard Music Awards.
This comes a year after Jennifer Lopez and Shakira featured special guests Bad Bonnie and Jay Balvin at the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show in Miami. See below for additional information on how to watch the big game as well as the list of Super Bowl performers from the last decade.
The Super Bowl 55 will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2021, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Buccaneers at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. In 2017, the NFL announced that the game was officially given to Tampa after the league removed the Super Bowl set for Los Angeles from 2021 to 2022.

How to watch the 2021 Super Bowl
Super Bowl 55 will be broadcast by CBS and CBS will stream live to all access applications. Although NBC was originally scheduled to broadcast the 2021 game and CBS had the 2022 Super Bowl, the two networks decided to change the year for NBC to win both the Super Bowl in 2022 and the Winter Olympics.
