Extremely bright would have many uses intended to use for shadow photos only thing i didn't like was remote is not very useful do to it doesn't operate well had to keep moving the remote around the lamp till i got a signal with it and try to keep it in that spot to cycle through but remote won't get much use so no bother to me lamp is roughly ten inches high and back and forward movable lamp head
