1. Definitions

1a. A hardware ID is a special code that identifies the machine that is authorized to run the software 

1b. An IP address is a unique string of characters that identifies each device using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network 

1c. We, us, I, or me means the creator(s) of Sunhat Silliness

1d. You or your means the player of Sunhat Silliness

1e. IP banning is a type of ban where every single device that uses their specific IP address is banned from accessing the game.

1f. In-game means something that has happened in Sunhat Silliness, or something that is in Sunhat Silliness.

2. What data we use and how we use your data

2a. We use your hardware ID through a program called "Playfab" for special in-game items, such as in-game currency, special moderator items, etc. We also use Playfab to save changes you have made in-game and to login to your specific Playfab/Sunhat Silliness account.

2b. We use your IP address only for when you have done something terribly or extremely bad such as hacking the game, trying to delete game files, and/or trying to modify certain files. We use your IP address ONLY for IP banning. We will never use your IP address for any malicious purposes, unless someone hacks through Playfab. (Also, please note that if someone does hack through Playfab, we have very little or no control over that.)

2c. We store your in-game username so we can find your specific Playfab/Sunhat Silliness account.

2d. We use a program called "Photon VR" for multiplayer in Sunhat Silliness, and in order for you to join lobbies. We need to access your Wi-Fi in order for you to join lobbies. We will never use your Wi-Fi for any malicious purposes. We have no access to your Wi-Fi name, password, etc. as we know of.

2e. We use your email to contact you if anything has gone wrong in-game or to discuss anything that has happened in-game.

3. Deleting/clearing your data

3a. You may contact us about deleting your data, however this may crucially impact your game. To contact our support team, please contact us at jakevr140@gmail.com. Again, that is jakevr140@gmail.com.

4. Child protection

4a. Sunhat Silliness is not targeted for children under the age of 13. If you believe that your child has sent us data without permission, please contact us at jakevr140@gmail.com and we will discuss what has happened and we will remove their data if requested.

4b. If you are a parent and want your child's data removed, please contact us at jakevr140@gmail.com.
