Sung-Yeon Kim is with the department of IT convergence in ICT polytech institute of Korea. Before joining the ICT polytech institute of Korea, he was a staff engineer at Samsung electronics network division and Interdigital research lab. He published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and conferences. He received his B.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea in 2007 and 2016, respectively. His research areas include advanced artificial intelligence, resource optimization, service distribution, topology and routing optimization in mobile access and core networks with his background queueing analysis, convex optimization, and non-convex programming.
