If you want a dedicated music player for long flights with lossless audio support, choose SUNGOOYUE MP3; if you need an FM radio headset for extended outdoor wear like mowing or cycling, choose T.TAOMI FM Radio Headphones.
• SUNGOOYUE MP3: Offers premium lossless audio formats and a slim aluminum build, but lacks the over-ear comfort needed for all-day stationary listening. Best for travelers who want high-fidelity music without relying on streaming.
• T.TAOMI FM Radio Headphones: Delivers exceptional 24-hour battery life and superior noise isolation for active use, but cannot play local MP3 files directly without an external source. Best for seniors or workers who prioritize radio reception and ear comfort.
• The winner depends entirely on whether your priority is file-based audio fidelity or broadcast radio utility during physical activity.
The SUNGOOYUE MP3 player is designed for the person who wants to curate their own library without relying on cellular data or Wi-Fi. Its core strength lies in its ability to handle high-quality audio formats like FLAC, APE, and OGG, which many standard headphones simply cannot decode on their own. If you are someone who carries a massive collection of music files on a memory card up to 64GB, this device ensures that every track sounds exactly as the artist intended, preserving the dynamic range that gets lost in compressed streaming. The 1.8-inch LCD screen provides a clear interface for navigating playlists, setting sleep timers, and managing voice recordings, making it a functional tool rather than just a toy.
This unit is built for portability and durability. The aluminum alloy shell gives it a sturdy feel that resists the bumps and drops common during travel or sports. Because it connects via Bluetooth, you can pair it with almost any wireless headphone, giving you flexibility in how you listen. However, it is important to note that the device itself is a small, handheld player, not a headset. If you are looking for something that stays securely on your head while you run, jog, or wear glasses, you will need to buy a separate pair of headphones to pair with this player. The battery life supports up to 8 hours of playback, which is sufficient for a long day, but it falls short if you plan to be away from power for multiple days.
You should definitely buy the SUNGOOYUE MP3 if you are an audiophile traveling by plane who needs a reliable, offline solution for entertainment. It is also ideal for runners who prefer to carry their own music library rather than rely on a phone connection that might drop. Conversely, skip this product if your primary goal is to listen to live news broadcasts, weather updates, or local stations while you work outdoors. It has no built-in radio tuner, so it cannot pick up FM signals on its own. It is also not the right choice if you need a headset with integrated microphones for calls or specific work environments, as it is strictly a media playback device.

The T.TAOMI FM Radio Headphones solve a very specific problem: staying connected to the world through radio waves while keeping your hands free and your ears comfortable. These are over-ear headphones that integrate a premium DSP filter chip, allowing them to tune into FM frequencies with remarkable sensitivity. This makes them perfect for anyone who wants to listen to the news, talk radio, or music stations while mowing the lawn, jogging, or working in a noisy environment. The design focuses heavily on comfort, featuring soft memory foam ear cushions and an adjustable headband that hugs the ears perfectly. This ensures that even after hours of continuous wear, you won't experience the fatigue often associated with cheaper plastic headphones.
Battery life is where this product truly shines. With a built-in 650mAh lithium battery, it offers up to 24 hours of continuous use on a single charge. This is a significant advantage over many portable players that require daily recharging. Whether you are taking a long weekend trip or working a double shift, you can leave these headphones on and forget about the charger for a full day. The LED display adds a practical touch, showing you the time and station frequency clearly, even in low-light conditions. You can also preset your favorite channels with a simple long press, saving you time when you need to switch between stations quickly. The inclusion of a 3.5mm AUX jack means you aren't locked into the radio mode; you can plug in an MP3 player or smartphone to play stored music through the speakers.
These headphones are the ideal choice for seniors who need large, easy-to-read displays and intuitive button controls, or for professionals like nurses who need a microphone headset for basketball drills or similar activities where they need to hear instructions clearly. They are also excellent for "best sweatproof neckband" alternatives for glasses wearers, as the over-ear design avoids the pressure points that often irritate the temples when wearing frames. However, do not expect this device to play digital music files directly from a USB drive or SD card. It relies on an external source for non-radio content. If you are looking for a device to store thousands of songs locally, this is not the solution. It is purely a receiver and speaker system.

The ability to store a vast library of lossless files and the sturdy aluminum build give me confidence that this device will last. However, for a colleague who spends their day mowing lawns or working outdoors, the T.TAOMI FM Radio Headphones are the clear winner due to their incredible battery life and comfort. Ultimately, if you are flying, take the SUNGOOYUE; if you are outside, grab the T.TAOMI. Yes, they connect wirelessly via FM radio to broadcast stations, and they also feature a 3.5mm AUX jack for wired connections to smartphones or other devices.
The T.TAOMI FM Radio Headphones are likely better for glasses wearers because their soft memory foam ear cushions and adjustable headband reduce pressure on the temples compared to smaller in-ear options.
The SUNGOOYUE MP3 does not list internal storage but supports memory cards up to 64GB, while the T.TAOMI headphones do not have internal storage for files and rely on external sources or radio signals.
