April, 2026 — Our work JARVIS for HVAC: LLM-based Question-Answer Framework for Sensor-driven HVAC System Interaction has been accepted to ACM UbiComp/IMWUT 2026.

Jun, 2024 — My work with Kichang on designing an ultra-lightweight time-series classification model with gZip compression received the Best Poster Runner-Up Award from ACM MobiSys 2024!
Sungmin is a Ph.D. candidate advised by Prof. JeongGil Ko.
Sungmin received his B.Eng. in Integrated Technology from Yonsei University (2020) and worked as a visiting researcher in Keio University (2024) at JN Lab and University of Michigan (2025) at Prof. Pei Zhang's Lab.
Sungmin's research interest spans environment and context understanding via mobile sensor and computing devices, time-series sensor data analysis, domain-specific language models (LMs).
