Hello! My name is Sungju Ryu, and I'm currently an Associate Professor in the Department of {System Semiconductor Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering} at Sogang University where I am focusing on AI hardware design and AI model compression. Before joining Sogang, I worked at Soongsil University as an Assistant Professor and AI&SW Research Center of Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) as a Staff Researcher.

I received a Ph.D. degree (2021) in Creative IT Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) under the supervision of Professor Jae-Joon Kim (Currently at Seoul National University) in VLSI Lab. At POSTECH, I studied energy-efficient hardware accelerators for compressed neural networks. I received a B.S. degree (2015) in Electrical Engineering from Pusan National University.
