Feel the Love
Bethany House is a community that empowers homeless and at-risk families with the solutions to achieve housing stability and long-term self-sufficiency. As IKEA aims to bring a positive influence on its local community, the interior team at IKEA Hicksville was asked to remodel six offices at Bethany House.
In this external project, IKEA Hicksville provided furniture, interior design services, and physical implementation. I had a pleasure working as a lead designer to create interior design solutions and to prepare relevant documentations to keep track of costs.

As a lead interior designer, I wanted to create a space where people feel safe and peaceful. Not only should this office present good first impression to new members of the community, but it should also provide a good working environment for all office workers.
I also tried to embrace IKEA's Scandinavian root as I wanted to leave a footprint that shows that IKEA's positive impact on its local community.
