Patrick Van Haren has been awarded the US Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Certified Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP) designation, has completed his Masters in Entrepreneurship, intensive courses in Project Finance, and completed a National Lifetime Leadership Program in Agriculture.

Ernesto Furukawa, Sunergie Modelling Expert, will enable all of the technical and financial modeling of projects in alignment with the PD and PM.

Ernesto (MBA in Entrepreneurship, BA Finance) has an extensive background in financial modeling and analysis of real estate development and renewable energy. He worked for 5 years as a Lead Modelling Analyst and Lead Risk Analyst for GE Power and Water, and more recently for 5 years in the execution of a Multi-family development in Peru.

Karin Ascot (Master of Applied Geography, Environmental Resource Management & Regional Planning), Sunergie Project Manager (PM), leads reporting and production activities according to a project’s proposed schedule of work, including the integration and editing of content contributed by the various project partners and consultants.

Mr. Robert Jones has extensive experience in Utility & Industrial Energy Markets. He recently completed a 9-year placement at Siemens Energy based in Houston, TX. He is currently focused on distributed energy and combined heat & power markets. His specialties are in power generation applications and economics; project development; sales and marketing.

While at Siemens, Mr. Jones focused on Marketing of the Distributed Generation Business Unit: Managing internal and external communications and acting as Siemen’s liaison with industry associations and conferences.

Mr. Jones supervised Siemen’s business development for:

  • steam turbine-generator products for Industry, Utility and Renewables (solar thermal, biomass, waste-to-energy, geothermal) markets;
  • industrial gas turbines for combined heat & power (CHP) and combined cycle power plants applications.
  • The development and management of a network of manufacturer representatives with 10 agreements completed in North America.

Mary Needham’s basic practice is consulting on New Market Entry for technical companies coming into the energy sector; we added the executive search function within a year of starting up and are well-known across the Energy field for recruiting first-class, senior level talent for companies that want to be the best in their area, including determining the market and key personnel needs.

Ms. Needham is a recognized consultant to multiple billion-dollar engineering companies with global operations such as Mustang Engineering, which was a very early client and grew from 3 men in a garage to a $billion dollar company sold to Wood Group in the late-2000s.
