Since Lux is deaf we wanted to include some sign language! We decided that they speak Spanish and English.
As we got thinking though we realized that to talk more comfortably, especially to Calypso (who is mute) Lux would know sign language.
Some LGBTQ+ signs in ASL (American Sign Language) and LSM (Lengua de Señas Mexicana), 2 of Lux's 4 languages are provided to the left.

Basic signs- there are multiple varying signs for most of these but here are some basic signs Lux may use in their everyday life
Hello: Extend your fingers and place your hand near your forehead, palm facing outward. Move your hand slightly forward and down.
Goodbye: Wave your open hand back and forth in front of your body, palm facing outward.
Thank you: Start with your fingers together near your chin and move your hand forward and slightly down.
Sorry: Make a small circle with your dominant hand on your chest.
Please: Start with your flat hand near your chest and move it in a circular motion.
Yes: Make a fist with your thumb up, and move your hand up and down slightly.
No: Extend your fingers and move your hand side to side.
Help: Extend your dominant hand with fingers together and thumb up, then bring it towards your mouth.

ASL originated in the early 1960s, but the first ever recorded history of a sign language type thing was in the 17th century. Although references of communicating with hand signals date back to the 5th century because Greece!!!

LGBT signs-
For any of these you could also just finger spell the word for more clarity
Gay: Hold your dominant "G" hand near your forehead and then move it forward slightly.
Lesbian: Hold an "L" handshape near your chin, then move it forward and slightly down
Bisexual: Hold up a "B" handshape near your chin, then move it down and out.
Transgender: Hold both hands in a "T" shape then twist them outward at the wrist.
Pride: Make a flat "O" shape with both hands, palms facing inward and fingers together. Bring both hands together in front of your chest, overlapping slightly.
Love is Love: Cross your arms over your chest in an "X" shape, then extend both index fingers and touch them together in front of you.
Ally: Hold your dominant hand flat, palm down, and then touch it to your non-dominant shoulder
