Development Breakdown /Summary responsibilities
This project was an end-to-end development effort by me. While most assets were reused from my ongoing WIP platformer, the gameplay is entirely unique.
Gameplay Programming: Designed and implemented a gameplay loop in Unreal Engine 4 using Blueprints, featuring a system that introduces random anomalies with each loop reset.
Game Design: Created and planned a variety of anomalies to ensure fresh challenges with every loop.
UI/UX Design: Built functional UI elements, including a main menu, pause menu, and other navigation components, to enhance the player's experience.
Sound Design: Did the sound design for character animations, environmental ambiance, and anomalies to immerse players in the game world.
Marketing Materials: Produced promotional assets such as thumbnails, icons, and a trailer to showcase the game effectively.

Developement Process
Developed the game in roughly a month for Halloween in October, reusing many assets from my platformer game.
Began by creating a straight path lined with shelves and setting up default assets like boxes and ladders for the initial floor.
Ideated different anomalies, such as scaling up a box, changing visuals, or making objects invisible.
Programmed a system using Blueprints to assign anomalies randomly to floors.
Designed a functional UI for navigating through various widgets.
Worked on sound design to enhance the atmosphere and gameplay experience.
Published the game.
Engaged in marketing efforts to promote it.
Game / Level Design
The game design is inspired by the classic anomaly-finder genre. I envisioned this game as part of the same world as my platformer game, which serves as its foundation.
The game begins on Floor 1 of a shopping mall, presented as a straight path lined with shelves displaying various objects and markings. The entry point is on the left, and the exit is on the right. after exiting from floor 1 player reaches floor 2.
On Floor 2, the player must decide whether something has changed or remained the same. They have two choices: go right if the floor is unchanged or go left if something has changed. A correct decision allows the player to progress to the next floor, while an incorrect choice sends them back a floor.
There are a total of nine anomalies currently implemented, which are randomly assigned to any floor. I plan to add more anomalies in the future to expand the gameplay experience.
