Lord of the Rings Where Am I Board

This project involved creating a document that I could post by my room's door that told residents if I was in my room or not. I used a red thumb tack to mark which place I was at.

The inspiration for the door decoration is the Lord of the Rings book series by J.R.R. Tolkien. This matches the One Ring and Arkenstone door decorations, the duty board, and The One Ring whiteboard art.

This is the original image I used to create the Where Am I board:

I added some old paper to the image and photoshopped the edge to blend it better. Then I added the places on the map that were important to the book. 

This was the end of the actual graphic design process. Then once the map was printed, I looked at this website to draw the trail Thorin and company followed in the books.
