This project involved creating a bulletin board in the residence hall that would showcase something useful to the residents. It would stay up for a month.
The reason behind making the bulletin board is a place to put information as well as it being something decorative on the walls of the hall.
The inspiration for the bulletin board is Starbucks.
The board reads:
Let's Re-Connect
"Thanks a latte for being my friend. Words cannot espresso how much you bean to me."
"How long did that take you to come up with? Come on, spill the beans! I think this is grounds for reevaluating our friendship..."
I wanted the bulletin board to look like Starbucks without using any of the branding so I chose their colors and made the cups look like theirs.
My process started with cutting out the letters for the title. Then cutting out the cups and table out of the bulletin board paper.
After that, I wrote out the quotes and then cut them out as well. Then I put it all up on the board.
