Welcome to Smart Optics (SO) Laboratory!
The Smart Optics Lab (SO Lab) at Korea University is dedicated to advancing the development of smart optical devices that can improve convenience and comfort in our daily lives.
Our lab focuses on designing a range of optical devices, including imaging devices, sensors, filters, and displays, with the aim of creating smart optical devices that can adapt to the rapidly changing world. We utilize the latest advancements in nanophotonics and artificial intelligence to develop these devices, which have the potential to enhance industries such as healthcare, telecommunications, automotive, and aerospace. For example, our smart optical devices can improve medical diagnoses, wireless communication networks, and enable autonomous driving.
At SO Lab, we are committed to staying at the forefront of optical technology and developing innovative solutions that can make a positive impact on society. We are looking for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students to join us on this journey.
