THE SIMPLE FOLLOWER

• BE HUMBLE. A simple follower should be humble all the time. When we wish to follow our faith, our God, one quality we need is humility. We must always practice humility because it will enable us to follow the faith simply. We follow because Christ lives in us and not because we want to live for ourselves. How can we be humble? Put God in our hearts.

• BE COURAGEOUS. A simple follower should be courageous all the time. When we follow our faith, we must have courage because there will be high waves and violent storms ahead of us.  We can become simple followers who can persevere when we have the courage to live forth our faith. How can one be courageous? Always offer a prayer.

• BE THANKFUL. A simple follower should be thankful all the time. We should be thankful that we have the opportunity to face and live forth our faith. This is an opportunity to get to know and build a deeper relationship with God and our neighbors. How can we be thankful? Love for God and neighbor is encouraged.

• BE BLESSED. A simple follower should be blessed all the time. We are blessed when we live in accordance with our faith. Many people have struggled to follow and practice their faith. Most of them were going through hardships and turning to sin. Be thankful when we act on our faith since it is the first step in creating room in God's kingdom.

• BE FAITHFUL. A simple follower should be faithful all the time. We must always be faithful when following our faith.  Our faithfulness to our faith should last forever and never end. How can we be faithful? Make God the center of our lives.

• BE A BLESSING. A simple follower should be a blessing all the time. Having all of the aforementioned things, we ought to be a blessing to those who didn't follow and practice their faith. By sharing the goodness and blessings we have experienced and will experience as a result of pursuing our faith, we should be a blessing to others. How can we be blessings to them? Be a simple follower who shares God's message of salvation.

Let us be humble, courageous, thankful, blessed, faithful, and a blessing all the time if we wish to be simple followers in our faith.
