This policy describes the Android game SumSplit (package com.albertlab.sumsplit). For privacy questions, contact the developer at albertlabsai@gmail.com.
SumSplit works offline and does not require an account. The game has no advertising, in-app purchases, analytics, tracking SDKs or developer-operated backend. It does not automatically send gameplay records, device identifiers or diagnostic data to the developer.
The game saves completed boards, scores and times, attempts, hint use, unfinished lines, challenge codes and results, tutorial status, and appearance, sound and haptic settings in its private local storage. This information is used to continue your game and display your progress and records.
The optional prototype feedback form stores six ratings, an optional note and the submission time on your device. Saving feedback does not send it to the developer. Please do not put personal or sensitive information in feedback notes.
Share best, Share progress, Share board and Share set open Android's share menu with the selected game results. Export feedback opens the share menu with a file containing your saved ratings, notes and submission times. Nothing is sent unless you choose a destination and complete the action there.
The app or person you choose receives the shared content and handles it under their own privacy practices. You can cancel sharing. If you choose to send feedback or an email to the developer, the developer receives the content you send and any sender information supplied by your email or messaging service, and uses it to respond or improve the game.
SumSplit is intended for players aged 9 and above, including families. It does not ask players for their name, age, email address, location or an account. It has no chat, public profiles or advertising. Children should ask a parent or guardian before using an external sharing app or contacting the developer, and should not include personal information in feedback.
Local information remains on your device until you remove it. Settings → Reset Progress clears campaign and challenge progress while keeping settings and saved feedback. Clearing the game's app storage in Android Settings, or uninstalling the game, removes its local data. Android application backup is disabled for SumSplit. Any files or messages you exported remain with their chosen destination until deleted there.
If you have sent information to the developer and want it deleted, contact albertlabsai@gmail.com. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations.
The current game does not request internet, contacts, location, camera or microphone access. Android's app isolation protects its private storage. Sharing temporarily makes the selected text or exported file available to the app you choose. No method of storage or communication can be guaranteed completely secure.
This policy is hosted on Google Sites. Opening Settings → Privacy policy launches your browser and connects to Google's website. Google and your browser handle that visit under their own privacy policies. Opening the policy does not give the developer access to your saved game data.
If the game's data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new date. The Google Play declarations will also need to reflect any new functionality.
