Summer Letter to Families

June 2020

Dear families,

We hope you enjoyed the emails and videos sent during Lent and Easter encouraging families to live our faith at home.

If you are not receiving regular email updates from Mgr. Quinn, please call the parish office and let us know your preferred email.

Summer 2020

We will not be gathering for 2020 summer sessions of religious education nor will we have summer ‘virtual’ religious education. This decision was made in conversation as staff and in dialogue with many families.

We are requesting that families continue to connect life and faith at home, so we have prepared this resource by grade for families.

Fall/Spring 2020-2021

We are reviewing and preparing options for Fall/Spring 2020-2021 and strongly encourage families to regularly check our St. Elizabeth Seton parish website https://stelizabethsetonchurch.org/ to remain informed since many have indicated that emails sent from our parish go directly to spam.

Celebrating Sacraments

Spring celebrations of First Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Eucharist with our second and third graders still need to be rescheduled. IN addition, our third graders did not attend their immediate preparation in March for First Eucharist.

What happens now?

We are waiting for permission to gather for these celebrations and re-schedule them. As families, it is vital for you to use these summer resources in preparation, (grades 1 thru 8) and to begin attending Mass when it becomes possible in the coming weeks.

Questions

Christine Saltzman seschristine@comcast.net and Gertrude Hammond sesgertrude@comcast.net encourage you to email any time.

Peace and prayers,
