The Branch is supporting the grand opening of the Living Memorial Baseball field on April 18th. A ceremony, preceded by the Summerland Pipe Band and a Legion colour party, will take place. The Branch Executive is encouraging everyone to come to the park at 10 AM on Saturday, April 18th to participate in this historic event. Those with Legion blazer uniforms are requested to wear them when attending.
Reminder to all members and regular visitors: you can purchase a Branch Supporter fireplace brick name plaque to help raise funds for the Branch's 100th Anniversary. The name plaques are $125 each. See the fireplace for the supporters' names. Your contribution not only helps the Branch but will also be an everlasting sign of your support for the Legion. Applications are available at the bar.
