SPRING CAMP

EDIBLE ART CAMP WITH ARTIST HILLARY PARKER for ages 8-11

Join naturalist and artist, Hillary Parker and have fun creating and illustrating some delicious edible art. Students will work in a studio and outdoors throughout Fairchild while gathering and sketching edible plants, fruits, and veggies and creating recipes to prepare and sample. On the first day of camp a $10 fee will be collected for art supplies provided by the instructor.

April 10 – 14 from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m.

JUNIOR NATURALIST CAMP for Ages 6-9

Join us this summer as campers explore nature, science, and art through exciting hands-on activities in the classroom and around the Garden! Programs run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m daily. Fee per week: Member child, $185; Non-member child, $225

NEW Summer Camp After-Care (applies to Junior Naturalist and Science Detective Camps ONLY) 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fee $50 per week

SCIENCE DETECTIVE CAMP

for Ages 10-13 Step into the shoes of scientists as you uncover the mysteries of tropical plants, chemistry, engineering and more through project based exploration.

DRAWN TO NATURE ART CAMP WITH HILLARY PARKER for ages 8-11

Join naturalist and artist, Hillary Parker as we observe, explore, discover and create beautiful works of art that are inspired by the natural beauty of Fairchild. Using colored pencils, watercolors, collage, pen and ink and mixed media, students will learn while creating works of art. On the first day of camp a $10 fee will be collected for art supplies provided by the instructor.

June 12 – 16 from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m.
