I obtained PhD from Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Masaryk University.

Research Interests: Application of methods from geometry for processing diffusion weighted MR images with emphasis on segmentation, fiber- tracking and evaluation of biomarkers from higher order tensors.

Currently, am' associated with Biomedical Imaging Algorithms (BIA) group, CTU, Prague (under Prof Kybic). We are working on determination of primary hyperaldosteronism from essential hypertension using ultrasound images. The other part of the work is evaluation of scalar anisotropy measures from dwMR images which potentially can act as biomarkers useful in diagnosis of ischemia and other white matter neurological disorders.
