We will base our decision on what home would be best for each individual animal. As a reminder, we do not hold animals. We adopt on a first approved applicant basis. We ask that you respond to us in a timely manner. If we do not hear back from you after five days, we will move onto the next application. If you adopt from us, you are agreeing to contact us first if you ever choose to rehome. We reserve the right to deny any application should we believe the applicant is not a good fit for the animal.

We will respect your privacy and maintain your confidentiality. All information given is only used as part of our adoption program and is shareable among our board directors and rescue partners.

What happens after I submit my application?
Please allow 1-3 business days for us to respond to your application. Due to the varying busyness of this work, some days are busier than others. If you do not hear back from us after 3 days, please email us at lalasrescue@gmail.com
What if I don"t have my set up yet?
No worries! Please email and communicate with us that you are in the process of getting things set up. If you need recommendations or suggestions before making your purchase, just send us what you have in mind and we will let you know if we think it is appropriate for the species you want to adopt.
