Dr. Sujin Oh is a postdoctoral researcher in the Multilingual Phonetics Lab at Seoul National University and a lecturer in linguistics. She earned her Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where her dissertation received the Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award. Her research integrates experimental phonetics, second language speech learning, and laboratory phonology to examine how acoustic, articulatory, and cognitive factors shape speech production and perception. Using multimodal methods, including ultrasound tongue imaging, acoustic analysis, and speech corpora, she investigates cross-linguistic speech patterns in Korean and English. She teaches courses in phonetics, linguistics, and research methods at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
