I am a Research Assistant Professor at HKU Business School, University of Hong Kong, where my research focuses on household finance, financial contracting, and empirical banking, with a special emphasis on climate-related risks and the role of financial institutions in the green transition.
Previously, I served as a Research Economist in the Economics and Research Department of Banco de Portugal, where I contributed to policy-relevant research in these areas. I continue to collaborate with central banking institutions and academic networks across Europe.
Beyond research and teaching, I develop data and analytics tools, having collaborated with the Banco de Portugal Microdata Research Laboratory (BPLIM) and the European Financial Data Institute (CNRS) to build financial databases and visualization resources.
On this site, you will find my selected publications, updates on ongoing projects, and information about upcoming talks and events.
