Sudoku Elite (“the App”) is developed by Skadence Interactive (“we”, “our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our Flutter game available on Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store). By using our App, you agree to the practices described herein.
We do not require registration to play the App. The App may create a pseudonymous Firebase user ID automatically so core features such as purchase restoration, secure hint balances, and optional account linking can work without requiring a login.
If you choose to link an account using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we may receive and process the account identifier and any email address, display name, or name information provided by that sign-in provider. We use this information only for authentication, account recovery, cloud backup/sync, purchase support, and account deletion.
Game Progress and Cloud Backup Data
Most game data is stored locally on your device. If you use cloud-backed features, we may store game data associated with your Firebase user ID, such as app preferences, game progress, statistics, daily challenge progress, streak data, hint balance, and limited transaction records needed to prevent duplicate hint credits or spends.
Full cloud backup and sync are used for linked accounts. Cloud hint wallet and purchase reconciliation may also use the anonymous Firebase user ID so purchases and hints can be handled without requiring a login.
Our App may collect non-identifiable data such as device identifiers, operating system details, and usage data for analytics and to serve relevant ads. This data is processed in accordance with Google’s and Apple’s policies.
We use the google_mobile_ads package to display ads and to reward users. Google and its third-party partners may collect and use data (including anonymous device identifiers and ad interaction data) to serve personalized ads as described in their policies. For more information, please review Google’s and Apple’s Privacy & Terms.
For premium access and in-app purchases, billing is processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store financial information such as credit card numbers or bank details.
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchase products, purchase validation, entitlement status, purchase restoration, and related server notifications. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as your pseudonymous app user ID, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase receipts or purchase tokens, entitlement status, and technical information needed to provide purchase services.
Please refer to the privacy policies of Google Play, Apple, and RevenueCat for further details about their processing of purchase-related data.
We have integrated Microsoft Clarity to collect analytical data that helps us understand how users interact with different sections of the App.
The data collected is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information.
Consent is requested at first launch. If you decline, Clarity is disabled.
You can change your choice at any time via Settings → Privacy Controls inside the App.
In this version of the App, we have integrated additional packages to enhance functionality and user experience. These include:
in_app_update (v4.2.3): Manages update prompts by checking for app updates through the Play Store.
flutter_local_notifications (v18.0.1): Enables the delivery of local notifications.
timezone (v0.10.0) and flutter_timezone (v3.0.1): Provide accurate time-related functionality for scheduling notifications and other time-sensitive features.
permission_handler (v11.3.1): Facilitates the management and request of permissions.
firebase_core, firebase_auth, cloud_firestore, cloud_functions, firebase_app_check, and firebase_analytics: Enable Firebase initialization, anonymous and optional account sign-in, secure cloud-backed game data, server-side purchase and hint processing, app integrity checks, and baseline product analytics.
purchases_flutter / RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchase products, purchase validation, entitlement checks, purchase restoration, and purchase-related server notifications.
google_mobile_ads: Delivers ads and ad-related measurement.
Microsoft Clarity (SDK): Powers optional Enhanced Diagnostics when enabled by the user in Settings.
To support these functionalities, the App requests the following additional permissions:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM"/> <!-- Allows scheduling of precise alarms for time-sensitive notifications. -->
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS" /> <!-- Permits the App to post notifications. -->
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED" /><!-- Ensures that notifications are re-scheduled following a device reboot. -->
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.VIBRATE" /> <!-- Enables haptic feedback when notifications are delivered. -->
On iOS, equivalent permissions (such as notifications) are requested through Apple’s system dialogs.
These permissions are used solely to enhance the App’s functionality and user experience, and are not used for tracking or accessing sensitive personal data.
The collected data helps us analyze usage trends, improve game performance, and enhance user experience.
We display ads using the google_mobile_ads SDK. Ads may be personalized based on your device information and interactions. This personalization is performed by Google and its partners. You can manage your ad preferences through your device settings or by reviewing Google’s ad settings.
Ad interactions may be used to reward players in specific parts of the game. Additionally, any financial transactions you make (for ad-free play or bonus hints) are solely for unlocking these premium features and do not result in the retention or processing of your financial data by us.
Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
We use Google Analytics for Firebase by default to understand usage trends, feature adoption, and app performance, and to improve the App.
Enhanced Diagnostics (Microsoft Clarity)
If you opt in, Microsoft Clarity may collect additional interaction diagnostics to help us analyze usability and troubleshoot issues. This feature is optional and can be turned off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Analytics.
We integrate Google services including Firebase and Google Mobile Ads. Firebase services support anonymous and optional account sign-in, cloud-backed game data, server-side functions, app integrity checks, and product analytics. Google Mobile Ads supports ad delivery and ad-related measurement. These services may process pseudonymous identifiers, technical data, usage data, authentication data, cloud-backed game data, and ad-related data as described in this Policy. Google’s and Firebase’s privacy practices govern data processed by Google services.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchase products, validate purchases, determine entitlement status, restore purchases, and process purchase-related server notifications. RevenueCat may process purchase-related data such as pseudonymous app user IDs, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase receipts or purchase tokens, entitlement status, and technical information needed to provide these services. We do not currently use RevenueCat for ad revenue tracking.
We integrate Microsoft Clarity only for optional Enhanced Diagnostics. Clarity data collection occurs only when you enable Enhanced Diagnostics in Settings. This data is processed in accordance with Microsoft’s privacy policies.
In-app purchases, App Store interactions, and Sign in with Apple are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s privacy practices. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple provides authentication information needed to sign in to or link your app account.
We may share aggregated, non-personal data with trusted third-party service providers solely for analytics and ad delivery. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain data confidentiality and use the information only for the purposes specified.
Our App requests only the permissions necessary for its operation (e.g., network access). In addition to standard permissions, the newly integrated packages (listed above) may require extra permissions (such as scheduling exact alarms, posting notifications, receiving boot completed events, and accessing vibration controls) to provide enhanced functionality. We do not access sensitive personal data such as contacts or location unless explicitly required for game features (which are not implemented in this App).
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no security measures are foolproof, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain account-linked cloud data only for as long as needed to provide cloud backup, purchase entitlement, hint wallet, account recovery, security, support, legal, and compliance purposes. If you delete your account, we delete the Firebase account data and account-linked cloud data that we control, and we request deletion of the related RevenueCat customer record where supported. Apple, Google, and other third-party providers may retain transaction, security, or compliance records under their own policies.
You can control ad personalization through your device settings or via Google’s ad settings portal. You can also manage optional Enhanced Diagnostics inside the App.
If you create or link an account, you can delete your account inside the App by going to Settings → Account & backup → Delete account. Account deletion deletes the Firebase account and account-linked cloud data that we control, including cloud backup data and cloud hint wallet records. Store purchase records are managed by Apple or Google and may remain with those stores under their own policies.
You may also request account deletion using our account deletion page:

Enhanced Diagnostics Controls
You can enable or disable Microsoft Clarity Enhanced Diagnostics at any time in Settings → Privacy & Analytics inside the App.
If you do not wish to receive personalized ads, please adjust your ad settings on your device or visit Google’s Ad Settings.
A copy of this Privacy Policy is available within the App. You can find it in the Settings/About section at any time.
A link to this Privacy Policy is provided on our Google Play Store and Apple App Store listings.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The updated version will be posted within the App and on our website (if available). Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
