Short Bio 

Sudip Sharma is a PostDoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biology at Temple University. He is also working as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Genomics and Evolutionary Medicine (iGEM) under the supervision of Dr. Sudhir Kumar.  Sudip completed his Bachelor's and Masters's degrees in Applied Statistics (focused on Statistical Learning of Image Data) from the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT),  University of Dhaka. 

His current research focuses on developing statistical and machine-learning methods for analyzing molecular phylogenomic datasets.
