In keeping with Sullivan University’s career focus, The Student Counseling and Mental Health Center helps you stay on track both at school and at work, all while encouraging you to become the best possible you. Our goal is to provide the support you need to be successful.

Tomeika S. Reeves, MSSW, LCSW, CCTP

Student Counseling Program administered by Wayne Corporation

Tomeika S. Reeves is an Employee Assistant Program (EAP) and Student Counseling Program (SCP) Counselor/Therapist with Wayne Corporation and the primary therapist assigned to working with Sullivan University students. She received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology and Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) both at the University of Louisville in 2001 and 2005, respectively. Tomeika furthered her ability to practice by obtaining her Clinical License to practice Social Work from the State of Virginia Board of Social Work in 2015. Upon returning to her home state, she obtained her Clinical License to practice Social Work from the State of Kentucky Board of Social Work in 2017, and from the Professional Licensing Agency in the state of Indiana in 2021. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and has other specified trainings in therapeutic modalities to address trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and distress. Tomeika’s professional background in Virginia, Kentucky and Indiana has afforded her a myriad of clinical experience across multiple settings all with the primary focus of empowering youth/young adults, families and communities. Tomeika has a passion for learning and utilizing her newfound knowledge to serve others. In her personal time, Tomeika enjoys volunteering, watching and attending sporting events, singing/listening to music, reading and spending quality time with herself and others.
