Not sure if this was an update/change to the guide but on my onn 24 inch roku tv the streaming channels are no longer showing their channel numbers. Instead they are showing the channels logo. Problem is I've come to know the channels by number and I can't see the logos that well, just too small. Is there anyway to get the numbers back? Also the OTA channels still show their numbers and logos/call signs too.

Noticed the same issue with our ONN Roku TV. The channel numbers on Roku Live have disappeared from the guide. Instead there are channel Logos or icons that are too small to be helpful. How can we get the numbers back?

I'm having the exact same problem on my Roku TV. I turned it off and on, that did not fix it. Then I did a system reset and that did not fix it. If this is some kind of update I sure hope they fix it soon. I really like the channel numbers showing on there.

This was a ridiculous move. Before this you could go to the exact channel you wanted. Now you have to spend extra time searching for what you want to watch. That is if you can read any of it. I hope no one got a raise for this bright idea!

A YouTube channel trailer is key to getting viewers, building a subscriber base, and monetizing your channel. Your channel trailer gives people a way to find and support your work so you can become a YouTube star.

You need a channel trailer to get subscribers. That means you also need a YouTube channel trailer maker that you can afford. The Biteable YouTube channel trailer maker enables you to create an engaging channel trailer without spending an arm and a leg.

The most important part of your channel trailer is the part where you ask viewers to subscribe. Your call to action needs to be strong, so make your call to action visually impressive with animated text. Biteable supplies the animation, so all you have to do is write whatever you want!

Your videos are the real stars of your channel, so keep your trailer short. Around 30 seconds is plenty to get your message across. Think of your YouTube channel trailer as a creative elevator pitch. Get in, make your pitch as fast as you can, and get out.

If you're a content creator looking to grow your channel, you probably know that getting people to subscribe is one of the most important things you can do. In fact, getting 1,000 subscribers is a prerequisite for earning advertising revenue through the YouTube Partner Program.

Sometimes, all you need to do on YouTube is make it easy for people to hit subscribe. That's where custom links and buttons come in handy. These assets allow people to subscribe to your channel in seconds by simply tapping a button or clicking on a link.

That's because adding a subscribe button to your videos is one of the easiest ways to grow your audience. It reminds viewers that they can subscribe to your channel and stay up to date with your latest content.

End screens are those little pop-ups that appear at the end of your videos. You can use them to promote your other videos or encourage viewers to subscribe to your channel. While the end screen is active, be sure to tell viewers what you want them to do. If you're reading this post, you probably want them to hit subscribe more than anything!

Every viewer doesn't come to your channel from the YouTube homepage or a featured section on the app. A few of them come from different regions of the internet. If you have a website, embedding a subscribe button there is a great way to grow your channel outside of YouTube.

Now that you know some "technical ways" to boost your subscribers on YouTube, here's another alternative to explore: Use the power of community! Sometimes that's all you need to spread the word about your channel and attract more fans.

You can make it happen in four different ways:

Creating playlists on YouTube is a great way to grow your channel, and earn you more subscribers in the process. Organizing your videos under specific playlists allows your viewers to go on a binge session, giving you more watch time and increasing the likelihood of them subscribing.

Collaborating with other YouTubers is a great way to expand your audience and get more viewers. If they like what they see, they might even subscribe! Find other creators in your niche and reach out to them to see if they're interested in collaborating on a video or project.

No matter the size of your channel, collabs are refreshing because your viewers get to see unique content from you. If you feel that your content has been sluggish lately, collabs may be something you could consider doing.

Remember, if someone took time out of their day to click on your video and leave a comment or a like, there's a chance they'd be willing to subscribe to you. And putting in just a little effort to give them a good reason might go a long way.

To take your branding to the next level, you need a professional-looking YouTube logo. Not only does it help to promote your brand by showing your audience who you are and what your channel is like, but it also helps build trust and credibility with your followers.

The added advantage of using an icon in your YouTube logo is that you can easily add your branding elsewhere in a very non-intrusive, but effective way due to its smaller profile than text-only logos.

Choose an icon that targets your audience. Are they kids, teenagers, women, astronauts? Then make sure the style of the icon fits your brand. Casual, playful, serious comedy (similar to John Oliver), or do you fit somewhere in the middle? Popular comedic icons include microphones, smiling mouths, or a TV.

Prank and challenge channels are all about having fun, making people laugh, and doing the impossible. When designing a prank or challenge YouTube logo, it needs to be high-energy and attention-grabbing.

Some of the biggest prank channels use brilliant icons that convey the nature of their channel. What better image to use than a charming devil (Ownage Pranks) or a cute little monster (Just for Laughs Gags).

And some of the most popular YouTubers are gaming channels or feature gaming massively on them. Look no further than PewDiePie (Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg), who has over 100 million subscribers. He reviews games, live streams as he plays, plus releases vlogs and skits.

When deciding what image to use as your logo icon, look to your favorite games or your personal appearance as inspiration. Many live streamers show themselves while playing, so if you always wear a hat or sunglasses, you can use that in your logo to help push your personal branding.

His iconic blue ninja logo with yellow headband plays heavily into his personal branding (he often wears a yellow headband and has blue hair). And his custom font is inspired by Japanese calligraphy, which compliments his name, Ninja.
