An ambitious, intensive eight-month experience that addresses each step of digital subscriptions, from traffic acquisition to subscriber retention, and the organisational skills publishers need to succeed.
Designed to strengthen and accelerate growth of their subscription businesses, the programme will engage a select group of eight publishers in a journey that will help them define an ambitious vision for their digital subscription business and build the engine that will take them to their goal.
Participating publishers will receive dedicated 1:1 support and learn from the shared experiences from other participants as well as from Google, FT Strategies and INMA. The delivery of the programme will be mostly digital.

Across two editions of Subs Academy (previously branded as Subs Lab), 16 publishers from 11 different countries have participated in the programme.
Each programme succeeded in:
executing an in-depth diagnostic of performance
inspiring change through the intervention of FT Strategies, INMA and Google experts
building a North Star strategy with action plan and capability roadmap; and
implementing experiments aligned with key priorities.
Across each cohort, the programme has achieved a high overall rating on its completion: 4.9 and 4.6 (max 5) for 2020 and 2021 respectively.
