SubReminder is a subscription tracking app developed by AAN Labs. This Privacy Policy describes what information SubReminder collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. By using SubReminder, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Enter Directly

SubReminder only collects information that you voluntarily enter into the app. This includes:

- Subscription names, services, or providers

- Prices, currencies, and payment amounts

- Billing cycles, renewal dates, and payment dates

- Trial start and end dates

- Labels, categories, notes, and reminder text

- App preferences and reminder settings

SubReminder does **not** collect your payment card details, bank information, or any financial credentials.

1.2 Google Account Information (Optional — Cloud Sync Only)

If you choose to sign in with Google and enable Cloud Sync, SubReminder may access:

- Your Google account email address (used for account identification only)

- A unique account identifier provided by Google Sign-In

- Your subscription data and reminders (for backup and restore purposes)

- Selected app settings required for backup and restore functionality

Use of Google Sign-In is entirely optional. All core features work without it.

1.3 Purchase and Entitlement Information

SubReminder uses **Google Play Billing** to process Premium purchases. We do not handle payment card details directly. SubReminder may process limited purchase-related data, including:

- Product ID and purchase order ID (for verification purposes)

- Purchase verification result and Premium entitlement status

- Promo code redemption status and Premium access expiry

This data is used solely to verify and activate Premium access.

1.4 Device Permissions

SubReminder requests the following Android permissions to deliver its core features:

SubReminder does **not** request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos, or files.

2. How We Store Your Data

2.1 Local Storage

All subscription and reminder data is stored locally on your device by default. The app is fully functional offline. Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

2.2 Cloud Storage (Optional)

If you enable Cloud Sync, your data is stored in **Google Firebase** (Firestore), a cloud service provided by Google LLC. Cloud data is associated with your Google account and retained until you delete your account or request deletion. Firebase processes data in accordance with Google's data processing terms.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only to provide and improve SubReminder's features:

- To display and manage your subscription records and reminders

- To deliver scheduled renewal notifications and personal reminders

- To back up, restore, and sync your data across devices (if Cloud Sync is enabled)

- To verify Premium purchases and promo code access

- To prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access

- To process account or data deletion requests

We do **not** use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

SubReminder does **not** sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

SubReminder does **not** currently include any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs.

Data may be processed by the following service providers solely to support app functionality:

**Data is encrypted in transit.** You can request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following choices regarding your data:

- **Edit or delete subscriptions and reminders** at any time within the app.

- **Disable Cloud Sync** at any time in app settings. This stops further cloud backup without affecting locally stored data.

- **Delete your cloud account and associated data** through the in-app account deletion option or by contacting us at anlabs.dev@gmail.com.

- **Revoke Google Sign-In access** at any time through your Google account settings at [https://myaccount.google.com/permissions](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).

- **Disable notifications** at any time through your device's notification settings.

- **Uninstall the app** to remove all locally stored data from your device.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you may also have the right to access, correct, or port your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children's Privacy

SubReminder is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through SubReminder, please contact us at anlabs.dev@gmail.com and we will promptly delete such information.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

- Encryption of data in transit using industry-standard protocols (TLS)

- Use of Firebase security rules to restrict cloud data access to authenticated account holders only

- Google Play's secure billing infrastructure for purchase processing

No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the **Effective Date** at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of SubReminder after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
