Grading policy: 20% Homework, 40% Midterm exam , 40% Final exam.

Announcements

Class will start 10 minutes after 11, so that the previous instructor does not have to end his class in a hurry.

The midterm week will be Feb 18-23.

There will be no class on Mar 1 (Fri). The classes on Feb 25 (Mon) and 27 (Wed) will be till 12:30pm, to compensate.

Ved Datar will substitute for me on March 25th and 27th.

There will be no class on March 29th because of the In-House Symposium at our department.

There will be no class on April 12th (Friday) -- the classes on Monday and Wednesday that week will be extended by half an hour to make up.
