This is in place of the Surface-Group seminar -- for the previous years' websites are Informal seminar 2019 and Informal seminar 2020.
The idea this semester to have a bit more participation from the students, and have informal discussions on topics of common interest.
Pre-requisites: Topology (including fundamental groups and homology) , complex analysis, and a working knowledge of the geometry of the hyperbolic plane.
We'll aim to have online meetings over MS Teams each week.
We'll start from sometime in March --- stay tuned for announcements, including signing up for a fresh mailing list.
