I am Subhasish Modak Chowdhury (শুভাশীষ মোদক চৌধুরী) or Subho, a Professor at the University of Sheffield - where I serve as the Director of the BRAINS (Behavioural Research Alliance for Impact and Networks at Sheffield) research centre, and lead the Behavioural Economics Research Group.

I joined the Journal of Competition Law & Economics as an Associate Editor.
On July 07-08, 2025 I co-organized a Conference on ‘Advances in Industrial Organization and Competition Policy’ – in honour of Prof. Stephen Martin, at the University of Reading.
At Sheffield we hosted this year's BEE UK (Network of the Behavioural and Experimental Economists in the UK) annual conference on June 16-17, 2025.
