About Me 

Dr. Subhashis Patari holds the position of Executive Mechanical Engineer at Sheeran Engineers Pvt. Ltd (Fire Engineers Australia). With a strong educational background, he successfully obtained his MS and PhD degrees from IIT Madras, specializing in the field of open surface microfluidics under the guidance of Dr. Pallab Sinha Mahapatra. His contributions to research are well recognized, as evidenced by his publications in esteemed international journals such as Nature and the American Chemical Society.

Dr. Patari's innovative work on milk adulteration, which he patented, garnered widespread acclaim within the research community. The significance of his findings even reached the national stage, gaining coverage in major news outlets across India. Prior to his advanced degrees, Dr. Patari completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Agartala. His exceptional academic achievements earned him the prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship, providing him with the opportunity to pursue his PhD.

Personal Interest

Apart from the busy schedule of research work I love to travel and explore new places. Being engaged in research I still do take out some time to do what I love which includes taking long travelling trips, teaching science experiments in villages with the help of IVIL, IITM, and participating in clubs, conferences, and sports. As teamwork, I have participated in and Organized an International  Workshop on  Nanoengineered  Interfaces for  Energy  & Healthcare, conducted by IITM and UCL UK at IIT Madras on 16th March 2020.  I am a person who loves to have a conversation over a cup of coffee rather than having loads of conversations online.
