Leading the research in the area of Power System Protection in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Indore, with a focus on the growing large-scale integration of converter-interfaced renewable energy sources in power systems.

Sub-cycle protection using time-domain approaches.
Machine learning applications in power system monitoring.
Coordinated control and protection of microgrids using digital twins.
